Vape tank sleeves: fit, visibility and everyday care
A protective sleeve needs to fit around exposed glass without stopping you from using the tank normally. Start with the fitted glass measurement, then check the sleeve position and access to controls.

What a protective tank sleeve does
VapeGuard surrounds compatible glass with flexible silicone and six raised protective fenders. The raised sections provide separation from hard surfaces during everyday contact and help cushion knocks, bumps and minor impacts.
Vertical liquid-view openings let you check the liquid level while the sleeve is fitted. The sleeve is an accessory around the outside of the glass; it does not replace glass, seals or other tank components.
Check the fitted glass before choosing a size
Measure the widest outside diameter of your fitted glass. Standard is for compatible 19–28 mm glass; Large is for 27–38 mm. Both ranges include 27–28 mm. The same-colour Twin Pack contains one of each size.
Tank-base diameter and liquid capacity are not substitutes for that measurement. A replacement glass edition can change the outside profile, even when the tank name stays the same. Use the brand guides as a starting point and make the final check on your own setup.
Fit it without covering controls
- Inspect the glass and sleeve. Do not fit a sleeve over cracked or broken glass.
- Stretch the sleeve carefully and position it around the exposed glass.
- Check that it sits securely and keeps airflow, filling controls, vents and moving parts clear.
- Make sure you can still monitor the liquid level through the openings.
If the sleeve slips, distorts excessively or interferes with operation, remove it and check the size and shape again.
Remove, wash and inspect
The medical-grade silicone is washable and reusable. Remove the sleeve for cleaning, use mild soap and water, then rinse and let it dry before refitting. Check for tears, damage or loss of a secure fit.
The silicone is heat resistant to 250°C, but the sleeve should stay clear of direct flame and ventilation. Protection reduces exposure to everyday contact; it cannot guarantee that glass will survive a fall.
