Bubble glass protection: measure the widest part

Bubble glass can project beyond the metal tank body. That curved outer surface can be the first part to touch a table or another hard surface when the device is knocked sideways.

Measure fitted glass for Standard 19–28 mm or Large 27–38 mm VapeGuard

Protect the glass that projects beyond the tank

VapeGuard places flexible silicone around compatible exposed glass. Six raised protective fenders help cushion everyday knocks, bumps and minor impacts. The liquid-view openings keep the tank and liquid level visible.

A protector needs to sit securely around the actual glass profile. A tank with straight glass, a bubble-glass upgrade or a different-capacity replacement can need a different fit check.

Measure the outside of the glass, not the tank base

Measure straight across the widest outside point of the glass that is fitted. A specification for the metal base does not necessarily tell you the widest bubble-glass diameter. Liquid capacity, measured in millilitres, does not give that diameter either.

Choose Standard for compatible glass measuring 19–28 mm, or Large for 27–38 mm. The overlap is 27–28 mm. If you want both options, the Twin Pack contains one Standard and one Large in the same selected colour.

Check replacement glass separately

When replacing broken glass, match the exact tank model, edition, glass shape and capacity. A protective sleeve is not replacement glass and cannot repair a crack or a leak. Fit intact compatible glass first, then remeasure it before selecting a protector.

Do not rely on a brand name alone. A single manufacturer may sell tanks and glass editions with very different outside dimensions.

Use the sleeve with sensible checks

Keep the protector clear of airflow controls, vents, filling mechanisms and moving parts. Check the glass after a knock, even when a sleeve is fitted. Remove the protector if it becomes torn or no longer sits securely.

The washable, reusable medical-grade silicone is heat resistant to 250°C. It helps cushion everyday contact but does not guarantee that the glass will never break.
